Role Overview

We are looking to strengthen our Contracts & Legal function by onboarding professionals with proven experience in contract drafting, negotiations, legal advisory, and litigation management within the Renewable Energy / Infrastructure / EPC sector .

This opportunity is open to law graduates across experience levels , ranging from Executive to Senior Leadership , offering exposure to complex renewable energy projects and strategic legal responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

(Responsibilities will be aligned based on experience and role level)

Contracts Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate EPC, BoP, supply, O&M, consultancy, subcontractor agreements, NDAs, MoUs, and amendments.
• Support tendering and pre-bid teams with contractual reviews and risk assessments.
• Ensure contracts are aligned with commercial terms, scope of work, timelines, and risk allocation.
• Maintain contract documentation, trackers, and MIS.

Legal Advisory & Litigation

• Handle legal notices, replies, claims, counter-claims, and settlement documentation.
• Assist in managing litigations, arbitrations, and dispute resolution matters.
• Liaise with external advocates, counsels, and law firms.
• Provide legal support to internal stakeholders during project execution.

Regulatory & Compliance (RE Focus)

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws related to renewable energy, EPC projects, land, environment, labor, and corporate regulations .
• Support statutory approvals, regulatory filings, and compliance reporting.
• Track updates in MNRE guidelines, PPAs, DISCOM requirements, and related regulations.

Risk Management & Stakeholder Coordination

• Identify contractual and legal risks and support mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with Project, Procurement, Finance, and Management teams.
• Participate in negotiations, meetings, and dispute discussions as required.

Experience & Qualification

• Education: LL.B (Mandatory). LL.M will be an added advantage.
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in Contracts & Legal , preferably in Renewable Energy / Infrastructure / EPC sectors .
• Exposure to contract drafting and litigation handling is essential; depth of responsibility will be aligned with experience level.

(Final designation and responsibilities will be decided post evaluation.)
