Contract Management

What success looks like in this role:

• Provides contract related advice and support within assigned business areas and for specific contract types.
• Assists in drafting basic contract templates and reviewing standard agreements (i.e., non-disclosure agreements, procurement contracts, service agreements).
• Reviews contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and legal standards, flagging and addressing issues and concerns.
• Conducts legal research on contract law, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Assists in ensuring legal, regulatory and standards compliance during contract preparation and execution.
• Supports and participates in contract negotiations – by preparing background documents, conducting research and drafting proposed changes.
• Supports contract lifecycle management by maintaining appropriate databases, tracking status and ensuring timely renewals, terminations, etc.
• Assists with contract risk identification, including in areas such as intellectual property, data protection and liability.
• Tracks, maintains and reports on contract status, including renewals and those in negotiation.
• Prepares summaries of key contract terms for business unites or legal colleagues, highlighting important clauses and obligations.
• Assists with management of contract related issues and disputes.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
