“The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning.”

Mission Statement:

Responsible for administrating, consulting and/or negotiating product/service contracts with external customers. Develops pre-sales contract strategies and works closely with marketing, sales, and business management teams to structure proposals/contracts/bid documents. Negotiates contracts that are consistent with business objectives and engages in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes. Ensures fulfilment of contractual obligations from contracting parties. Does not require the incumbent to have legal qualification An Entry Professional (P1) applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. May require the following proficiency: Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex. Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support bids submission and orders approval

  • Ensure and track overdue opportunities and improve SFDC data quality shopping cart price/Qty with pricing manager

  • Support Sales team for Risk Review creation and data base filling.

  • Order handling - support OPS booking, and order handover activities.

  • Support and track price increase initiative

  • Tendering analytics and reporting

  • Sales share/common drive maintenance

  • Supporting ASMs during Offers/Quotations for adequate follow-up and proper answers during the Offer clarification process.

  • Coordinating with multiple functions (Design, Project management, SCM etc.) as part of tendering activity.

  • Cost analysis & Lost proposal analysis to obtain better future offering.

Your Background:

  • Electrical Engineer with 1 to 5 years of professional work experience in GIS or EPC or any High voltage / medium voltage electrical product sales & tendering.

  • Experience and skill to prepare and support Offer / quotation Process.

  • Experienced in Sales / tendering tools (Any Sales / tendering tools)

  • Knowledge of Power Grid Market & System offerings.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
