Summary:
The Contract Admin Team Lead will guide and support the Source-to-Contract team in delivering excellence across the full contracting lifecycle. This will include drafting and review through to execution and management of procurement contracts, NDAs, and related documentation. This role ensures all contracts are accurate, compliant, and executed efficiently, enabling the business and its suppliers to operate with speed, confidence, and control. As a key partner to Procurement, Legal, and business stakeholders, you will champion service excellence, agility, and continuous improvement in every aspect of delivery
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the contracting team providing clear direction and purpose for the contracting services team, fostering a culture of accountability, agility and high performance.
- Oversee the end-to-end contracting lifecycle including drafting, reviewing, amending and executing contracts and NDAs.
- Support a customer-focused service model by providing timely, responsive and value-driven contracting support to Procurement, Legal and business stakeholders.
- Apply approved templates, playbooks and clause libraries to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with company standards
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory and internal policy requirements
- Implement governance frameworks and controls to monitor compliance and mitigate risks
- Build trusted relationships with Procurement, Legal and business stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and problem solver
- Committed to operational rigour.
- Delivery of cost savings and value creation.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in resolving operational issues and managing escalations through root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
Position requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management in the aerospace or defence sector.
- Proven experience in leading contract teams.
- Hands-on experience with leading procurement systems such as SAP, Coupa and Ivalua.
- Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiation and execution.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking, with the ability to identify errors, risks and inconsistencies in contract language or process.
- Demonstrate real life examples of driving efficiencies and making operational improvements.
- Understanding of procurement policies, governance frameworks, audit readiness and compliance assessments related to aerospace and defence.
- Exposure to global procurement operations, including cross-border contracting and supplier governance.
