Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer & Social Media Specialist to manage
and enhance our online presence in the competitive observability market. This dual role requires
crafting engaging content that simplifies complex B2B technology topics while strategically managing our social media presence to build audience engagement, thought leadership, and brand awareness.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, tech-savvy individual passionate about translating technical
concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with IT operations professionals, DevOps
engineers, and technical decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
Write and edit compelling blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, and landing pages
pages, and long-form technical content aligned with the Company's messaging and positioning in the
observability market
Simplify complex technical concepts around telemetry pipelines, observability platforms,
data management, and system monitoring into digestible, audience-appropriate content for
different buyer personas
Collaborate with technical teams, including our CPTO and product managers, to gather
insights, ensure content accuracy, and develop thought leadership pieces
Create content across various formats, including website content, blogs, social media posts,
technical documentation, sales enablement materials, and executive thought leadership
articles
Social Media Management
Plan, create, and schedule content for the company's social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter/X,
etc.) with a focus on B2B tech engagement and building community within the DevOps and
observability space
Develop and implement social media strategies and content calendars to ensure consistent,
timely, and on-brand communication that supports product launches, events, and key
marketing initiatives
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages in a timely and
professional manner, and foster a positive online community around our brand
Stay current with social media trends, platform changes, and best practices in B2B
technology marketing, identifying opportunities to leverage new formats, features, and channels
SEO/AEO, Analytics & Performance Optimization
Optimize content for traditional search engines (SEO) and AI-powered search platforms
(AEO/LLM optimization) to increase organic traffic, visibility, and discoverability
Use analytical tools, including Google Analytics, HubSpot, and social media platform insights
to track content and social media performance metrics
Analyze performance data to refine strategies, optimize future content, identify high-
performing topics and formats, and provide regular reporting on KPIs
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
Work closely with the broader marketing and design teams to ensure content alignment with overall brand messaging, visual identity, and marketing campaigns
Support demand generation campaigns with targeted content, promotional ideas, and multi-channel distribution strategies
Partner with product marketing to create sales enablement materials, competitive
positioning content, and customer success stories
Required Skills
Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills with excellent editing and
proofreading abilities
Proven ability to create content tailored to different buyer personas, sales funnel stages, and
technical sophistication levels
Strong familiarity with B2B marketing strategies, technology industry terminology, and the
ability to quickly learn new technical concepts
Hands-on experience with social media management platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite,
Buffer, LinkedIn Campaign Manager)
Solid understanding of SEO principles and emerging AI Engine Optimization (AEO) best practices
practices, with experience using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms
Familiarity with AI tools, including Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and their applications
in content optimization
Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple
projects and deadlines effectively
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment
Nice to Have
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic video editing
Knowledge of observability, APM, digital performance monitoring, telemetry pipelines, or SaaS solutions
Basic understanding of WordPress or similar CMS platforms
Experience with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, or similar tools
Required Work Samples
To demonstrate your content writing and social media expertise, please provide the following
samples:
Content Writing Samples (2-3 pieces):
One long-form piece (blog post, whitepaper excerpt, or article) of 800-1,500 words on a B2B
technology topic. Ideal examples include technical explainers, thought leadership pieces, or
how-to guides that demonstrate your ability to simplify complex concepts.
One short-form piece (landing page copy, email campaign, or product description) of 200-
400 words that showcase persuasive writing and clear CTAs.
One technical/educational piece that shows your ability to translate technical features into
business benefits for different audience levels.
Social Media Samples:
Social media portfolio including links to 3-5 LinkedIn and/or Twitter posts you've created
that demonstrate B2B engagement. Include metrics where available (impressions,
engagement rate, comments, shares).
Content calendar sample showing one week of planned social media content with post copy,
timing, platform selection, and strategic rationale. This can be a screenshot, spreadsheet, or
document.
Campaign example describing a social media campaign you've executed, including
objectives, content approach, results achieved, and key learnings (1-2 paragraphs or a brief
case study format).
