Role Objective:
We are looking for a strategic thinker to own and manage the end-to-end content strategy and narrative execution for all lifecycle journeysspanning loan activation, usage, repayment, and cross-sell. In this role, you will act as the bridge between technical campaign execution and the customers mind, analyzing demographic data to tailor website and journey content for distinct personas. You will bring a curious, testing-driven mindset to the team, continuously refining persuasive communications to stay ahead of the competitive landscape. Your primary goal will be to deepen engagement and drive critical business metrics, including activation rates, loan disbursal volume, and customer lifetime value
Key Responsibilities
- Define, write, and optimize content narratives aligned with key lifecycle stages: Post-disbursal onboarding, Pre-EMI reminders, repayment follow-ups, and Top-up/Cross-sell campaigns.
- Drive targeted content strategies to generate high-value loan disbursals from existing customer segments by crafting psychological hooks for Cross-Sell and Up-Sell programs.
- Partner with Campaign Managers on journey design within Salesforce Marketing Cloud/CRM tools; you define the messaging strategy, tone, templates, and creative variants across channels SMS, WhatsApp, Email, and Push.
- Monitor content performance impact: Analyze how specific headlines, body copy, and CTAs influence Open rates, Click rates, Repayment %, and Cross-Sell/Up-Sell Disbursal Volume.
- Run A/B tests on creative messaging, track control vs. exposed cohorts, and iterate copy to maximize performance lift.
- Work with SEO Leads and Campaign Managers to co-define strategies; ensure content supports organic traffic growth while maintaining a consistent brand voice across direct marketing channels.
- Align communication flows with operational changes, ensuring complex financial terms are translated into simple, human-centric language for the SME audience.
- Responsible for end-to-end development of customer communication copies using behavioral hooks, customer intent signals, and lifecycle triggers to drive timely actions and habit formation across lending products.
- Identify actionable customer insights and translate them into targeted, insight-led campaigns that influence user behavior and improve lifecycle outcomes.
- Actively monitors the competitive landscape to stay current with industry trends and competitor activities.
Must-Have Experience & Skills
- Bachelors/masters degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on Content Marketing experience in BFSI/Fintech, preferably with specific exposure to Lending products.
- Deep familiarity with the SME/MSME audienceunderstanding their unique business challenges, financial anxieties, and language.
- Experience writing for Lifecycle (CLCM) journeys: Proven ability to write for retention, repayment, and cross-sell/up-sell.
- Strong understanding of SEO content structure and how to balance writing for search engines with writing for humans.
- Ability to write punchy, high-conversion copy for restrictive formats like SMS, WhatsApp, and Push Notifications.
- Comfortable working with data to defend content decisions and refine strategy.
