Content Writer - Branded Content

Role Overview

We are looking for a sharp, creative Content Writer & Copy Editor to join our Branded Content team. The role requires someone who can think fast, write sharper, and craft compelling content across formats especially for branded campaigns, promos, scripts, and on-air integrations.

Key Responsibilities

* Write creative scripts, headlines, taglines, promos, and one-liners for branded content campaigns

* Edit and polish scripts and copies to ensure clarity, accuracy, tone, and brand alignment

* Collaborate closely with producers, sales teams, and creative leads to deliver campaign narratives

* Adapt content for TV, digital, social, and on-ground IPs

* Maintain high editorial standards while working in tight deadlines

* Ensure brand messaging aligns with Republics editorial tone and style

Required Skills & Experience

* 4+ years of experience in content writing and copy editing (news, media, digital, or branded content preferred)

* Excellent command over written and spoken English

* Proven ability to write crisp, impactful lines and scripts quickly

* Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail

* Experience working in a fast-paced newsroom or media environment is a plus
