Content Strategist/Creator

About the Role

Were looking for a Content Strategist/Creator who can write well, think in trends, and show up confidently on camera. Someone who understands how social media works, what makes people stop scrolling, and how to turn that into content that actually connects with students exploring study abroad.

This role sits at the center of our social presence - spotting trends early, adapting them to the study abroad space, and consistently creating content that people want to watch, save, and share.

If you enjoy experimenting with formats, tracking what works, and building a channel over time - this role is for you.

What Youll Do

• Conceptualise, script, and create short-form video content that resonates with students exploring study abroad. This includes writing strong hooks, structuring the story, and confidently presenting on camera.
• Own the end-to-end content process - from idea to script to publishing across platforms like Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube.
• Actively track internet culture, trends, and viral formats, and adapt them creatively to make them relevant for the study abroad audience.
• Work closely with editors, designers, and the production team to ensure content is visually engaging and aligned with the brand voice.
• Maintain a consistent publishing rhythm by planning and managing content calendars across platforms.
• Monitor performance metrics such as views, engagement, shares, and audience growth, and use these insights to refine future content.
• Continuously experiment with formats, storytelling styles, and creative hooks to improve reach and engagement.
• Play an active role in growing Leaps social media channels by creating content that students find useful, relatable, and shareable.

What Were Looking For

• 25 years of experience in digital content creation, either in a professional role or through significant personal projects.
• Proven experience building or growing a social media channel or handle (personal or brand) with consistent posting and measurable growth.
• Hands-on experience writing scripts and appearing on camera for published short-form video content.
• Strong understanding of how social media platforms work - especially what drives discoverability, engagement, and retention.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to simplify ideas into engaging content.
• A creator mindset -someone who constantly experiments with new formats, ideas, and approaches to see what resonates with the audience.
• A visible portfolio, social handle, or body of work that clearly demonstrates creativity, consistency, and engagement.
