This is a Hybrid position based in Bengaluru, India. The Content Operations Specialist ensures the seamless management and distribution of digital content across various platforms. Success in this role means maintaining high standards of content quality, meeting deadlines consistently, having an affinity for details, aligning cross-functional stakeholder needs, and optimizing workflows for efficiency. This position is integral to Calix’s Customer Success strategy, directly impacting audience engagement and brand perception. This role offers the opportunity to work in a remote, dynamic environment, collaborate with creative and product teams, and contribute to Calix’s growth and success by optimizing content processes to better serve customers and employees.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Understand and adopt content operations best practices, especially when meeting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to improve content lifecycle processes and identify stakeholder needs. 

  • In partnership with the Manager, collaborate cross-functionally on content strategy prioritization and execution to align with Customer Success and Calix business needs. 

  • In partnership with the Manager, align stakeholder and business needs to essential features within tools that support digital asset management, content governance, and AI-supported content creation. 

  • In partnership with the Manager and cross-functional tech stack SMEs, improve the tagging and categorizing of internal and external content for improved discoverability. 

Qualifications: 

  • 3-4 years of experience in disciplines such as Content Strategy, Content Management, Content Operations, Program or Project Management, Communications, and/or Marketing. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in disciplines such as Communications, Business, or Marketing or, alternatively, 6+ years of industry experience without a degree. 

  • Ability to work remotely with colleagues in North America and Europe, i.e. your working hours will accommodate PST or EST timezones as needed.  

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. 

  • Ability to analyze content performance metrics and optimize processes based on data. 

  • Experience ensuring content is accurate, consistent, and compliant with brand guidelines. 

  • Preferable Tool Experience: Miro, SalesForce, Google Analytics, PowerBI, Confluence 

  • Required Tool Experience: Microsoft Office 365 

  • Expected Travel % (i.e. < 10%)
