Job Description

Role Overview

Were looking for a sharp content thinker and executor who understands how conversations work on LinkedIn and Twitter (X).

This role will focus on creating insightful, engaging, and high-quality content that positions LoveLocal as a thoughtful voice in the startup, retail, and local commerce ecosystem.

Youll work closely with the marketing and leadership teams to ideate, write, and execute content that sparks conversations and builds brand credibility.


Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Ideation

Develop and execute a content calendar for LinkedIn and Twitter.

Identify relevant conversations, trends, and narratives in startups, retail, commerce, and consumer behaviour.

Turn business insights, company updates, and industry trends into high-quality content pieces.

Content Creation

Write thoughtful LinkedIn posts, threads, and commentary that drive engagement.

Create sharp, insightful Twitter posts and threads.

Write scripts and concepts for short-form content.

Collaborate with designers to convert ideas into compelling social posts.

Social Media Execution

Manage publishing and scheduling of content across LinkedIn and Twitter.

Post content on Instagram and YouTube Shorts..

Monitor engagement and participate in conversations where relevant.

Consumer & Market Insight

Identify interesting stories from retailers, consumers, and the ecosystem.



What We're Looking For

Strong Content Skills

Excellent writing ability with clarity, structure, and strong storytelling.

Ability to write insightful, opinionated, and engaging content.

Social Platform Understanding

Deep understanding of LinkedIn and Twitter content dynamics.

Familiarity with how conversations and thought leadership grow on these platforms.

Strategic Thinking

Ability to spot trends, narratives, and industry insights.

Strong consumer understanding and ability to translate it into content.

Execution Ownership

Ability to own content end-to-end ideation to publishing.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.



Preferred Background

3 - 6 years experience in content, social media, or brand storytelling.

Experience working with startup, consumer, retail, or marketplace brands is a plus.

Strong understanding of startup and internet culture.
