Job Description
Responsibilities
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
• Management of OS – Compute, Memory, server resources
• Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
• Knowledge in core AWS services like, Storage accounts, Auto-scaling, Virtual Networks, Recovery services etc.
• Management of Vnet/VPC/VCN
• Creation of Subnets/IP Ranges
• Perform server health check-ups such as resource utilization, Zombie processes
• Maintain and frontend disaster recovery drills, backup and restore procedures
• Installing, manage and configuring Windows server OS.
• Manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Organizational Units (OUs), domain controllers (DCs), and Trusts.
• Setup active directory accounts/users’ management and workstations
• Server Patching & upgrades
• ESX / VMWare support
• Storage account management along with Snapshots
• Cloud Account management
• Install and report on patch/system updates and vulnerability compliance
• Server builds, provisioning – Physical &
• Ensure system backups and retention are in place
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
• keep the asset inventory to the latest
• Create architecture diagrams, documents and standard operating procedures
• Assist with the preparation of Business required / requested reports.
