Your work profile:
The L2 Support Analyst will be responsible for handling escalated database-related issues, performing in-depth SQL query analysis, and supporting data integrity across systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in SQL, database structures, and troubleshooting complex data issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and resolve complex database issues escalated from L1 support.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to support business operations.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring data-related problems.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve backend issues.
Monitor database performance and suggest improvements.
Maintain documentation for recurring issues, resolutions, and query templates.
Support data migration, transformation, and validation activities.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.


Location and way of working:


Base location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad


This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customized the hybrid approach to their unique needs.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
35 years of experience in SQL support or database administration.
Proficiency in writing and debugging complex SQL queries (e.g., joins, subqueries, indexing).
Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ETL tools and data pipelines.
Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
Exposure to cloud databases (Azure SQL).
