Job Description

Responsibilities

:
Administer and maintain Linux servers and workstations across multiple environments.
Troubleshoot complex system and network issues efficiently.
Manage virtualization platforms like VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V.
Automate processes using advanced scripting (Bash, Python, Perl).
Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Implement security measures and conduct regular audits.
Perform system backups, recovery, and migrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Minimum Qualifications

/ Skills
Bachelors degree in business, computer science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent.
Expertise in Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
Advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in network protocols and firewall configurations.
Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.

Preferred Qualifications

/ Skills
Proven experience working in a role involving
RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) or LFCE (Linux Foundation Certified Engineer).
Experience in Devops Tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, VMWare would be an added advantage
