About the Team and the Role

The ERP product & system team at Ather is responsible for building the digital backbone of our manufacturing supply chain.

This role is for a Key designer of Procurement, Inventory (MM), and physical warehousing (WM/EWM) processes. Your work ensures operational efficiency from ordering through material flow, designing the crucial digital link that synchronizes our high-speed manufacturing supply chain.

Responsibilities : 

• Lead the design and implementation of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, including POs, RFQs, Contracts, and Release Strategies.

• Manage advanced procurement scenarios like Subcontracting, Consignment, and Stock Transport Orders (STO).

• Drive governance for Material Master, Business Partners (Supplier roles), and Info Records.

• Configure Inventory Management (IM) processes and oversee Storage Unit (SU) Management, Handling Unit Management (HUM), and Physical Inventory.

• Ensure seamless flow of master and transactional data between EWM and core modules like MM, PP, QM, and SD.

• Utilize EWM/WM structures to support efficient Putaway, Picking, and general internal warehouse operations.

• Act as the primary driver for all MM RICEFW, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, or related field.

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM/EWM Consultant with MM as the primary focus in at least one full-cycle S/4 HANA implementation.

Must Have Competencies :

• Apply exceptional, expert-level knowledge of MM Enterprise Structure, Material Master, Business Partners, and complex Release Strategies.

• Design and configure key purchasing and inventory control elements including Pricing Procedures, Account Determination, and Split Valuation.

• Utilize proven ability to map complex manufacturing business processes to SAP standards and lead Procure-to-Pay (P2P) optimization workshops.

• Execute expert configuration of MM/Purchasing BADI frameworks and custom logic utilizing standard SAP interfaces.

Good to have Competencies : 

• Demonstrate solid configuration ability in S/4 HANA EWM basics, focusing on Organizational Structure and Master Data.

• Apply proficiency in ABAP debugging in the MM/P2P landscape to analyze issues and troubleshoot custom logic.

• Maintain a strong understanding of core module communication across MM, WM, EWM, PP, FI, SD, and QM.

• Possess an official SAP Certification in MM.
