Job DescriptionLocation GurgaonAbout your roleThe position is for a Java Development Specialist. The role involves doing development involving core skills of Java (OOPS, Collections, Multi- Threading), SQL, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Hibernate etc.Knowledge of working in Agile Team with DevOps principles would be an additional advantage. This would also involve intensive interaction with the business and other Technology groups, and hence strong communications skills and the ability to work under pressure are absolute must.The candidate is expected to display professional ethics in his/her approach to work and exhibit a high level ownership within a demanding working environment.Essential SkillsMinimum 4 years of experience with Webservices & REST APIsMinimum 2 years of experience with cloud any one of AWS/Azure/Cloudfoundary/Heroku/GCPUML, Design patterns, data structures, clean codingExperience in CI/CD, TDD, DevOps, CI/CD tools - Jenkins/UrbanCode/SonarQube/ BambooAWS Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, S3, SNS, VPC, IAM, EC2, ECS, etc.Hands on with coding and debugging. Should be able to write high quality code optimized for performance.Good analytical & problem-solving skills and should be good with algorithms.Spring MVC, SpringBoot, Spring Batch, Spring Security.Git, Maven/Gradle.Hibernate (or JPA).Key ResponsibilitiesWork on Java/PaaS applications.Own and deliver technically sound solutions for the Integration Layer product.Work and develop on Java/FIL PaaS/AWS applications.Interact with senior architects and other consultants to understand and review the technical solution and direction.Communicate with business analysts to discuss various business requirements.Proactively refactor code/solution, be aggressive about tech debt identification and reductionDevelop, maintain, and troubleshoot issues; and take a leading role in the ongoing support and enhancements of the applications.Help in maintaining the standards, procedures, and best practices in the team. Also help his team to follow these standards.Prioritisation of requirements in pipeline with stakeholders.
