OpenShift Expert EngineerJob Title: OpenShift Expert EngineerLocation: Noida, IndiaExperience: Minimum 10+ yearsJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OpenShift Expert Engineer to join our team in Noida with a long-term commitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) v4.14+ and extensive firsthand experience with BareMetal setups ; Single Node OCP(SNO) Cluster Setup ; Advance Cluster Management(ACM) and Security(ACS) ; Multus ; Quay Enterprise Registry ; Metal , AVI, Octavia and F5 SPK LB setups; OpenShift on OpenStack(IPI/UPI based) ; SR-IOV ; CertManager; Prisma Cloud Compute; GitOps ; ArgoCD ; Terraform and Ansible for end to end automation ; Dynatrace ; Cost Optimization tools like KubeCost/PerfectScale and ServiceMesh. Key Responsibilities: Design and Deployment: Architect, deploy, and manage OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) v4.14+ environments, including Single Node OCP (SNO) clusters, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. BareMetal and SR-IOV: Implement and maintain BareMetal setups with SR-IOV to ensure high-performance networking. Advanced Cluster Management and Security: Utilize Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) and Advanced Cluster Security (ACS) to enhance cluster operations and security. Network Configuration: Configure and manage Multus(for egress) for multi-network support within OpenShift clusters and Metal/AVI/Octavia/F5 SPK(for ingress) load balancer setups. Registry Management: Deploy and manage Quay Enterprise Registry for container image storage and management.Key Responsibilities(contd.): OpenShift on OpenStack: Deploy and manage OpenShift on OpenStack environments using both Installer Provisioned Infrastructure (IPI) and User Provisioned Infrastructure (UPI) methods. SR-IOV Configuration: Configure and manage Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) for enhanced network performance. Certificate Management: Implement and manage CertManager for automated certificate management. Security: Integrate and manage Prisma Cloud Compute for container security. GitOps and Automation: Adapt GitOps way of working and utilize ArgoCD/FluxCD for continuous deployment and manage application lifecycle. Automate infrastructure and application deployments with Terraform and Ansible. Monitoring and Optimization: Use Dynatrace for monitoring and performance management, and employ cost optimization tools like KubeCost or PerfectScale. Service Mesh Implementation: Implement and manage ServiceMesh for microservices communication and management. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to OpenShift and associated technologies. Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and guidance on OpenShift-related projects. Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Documentation and Training: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and provide training to team members on OpenShift best practices and new features. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in OpenShift and related technologies. Platform Benchmarking: Use appropriate tools to perform platform benchmarking and define the thresholds for monitoring.Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of experience in OpenShift and related technologies. Moderate networking knowledge Hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) v4.14+. Proficiency in BareMetal setups and SR-IOV. Strong knowledge of CertManager and ServiceMesh.
