Software License Specialist
Experience: L2 3 to 5 Years / L3 5 to 8 Years of Relevant Industry Experience
Skill-Set:
Required:
Software publisher auditing experience.
Licensing expertise in one or more major vendors out of Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, Autodesk, Adobe, SAS, Symantec, MacAfee, SAG, Open-Text etc.
Possess good knowledge of licensing complexities across publishers and licensing metrics.
Desirable:
ITIL / CSAM / Licensing Certification for Microsoft or any other publisher
Working Knowledge / Operational knowledge of License Management tool like Snow Software, Flexera, Aspera, Map (MS) etc.
Ability to understand licensing terms & conditions and license matrix of new software publisher or product.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assisting in Software Asset Management (SAM) and Software Publisher audits.
Able to create baseline from the entitlement data.
Preparing Entitlement and Deployment reports for clients. Generate ELP for the software products
Calculate the effective demand and Effective licenses in the environment
Identify and mitigate risks from an ELP assessment.
Understand terms and conditions defined in the Software contract and advise the organization on software optimization.

  • To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
  • To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases
  • To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
  • To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
  • To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management
  • Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives.
