About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon to join our advanced cardiac sciences team. The role involves comprehensive management of adult and pediatric cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases, with access to state-of-the-art infrastructure and multidisciplinary clinical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric cardiothoracic & vascular surgeries, including elective and emergency cases
• Manage aortic surgeries, acute aortic dissection, and complex vascular procedures
• Conduct coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and redo cardiac surgeries
• Perform heart valve repair and replacement surgeries
• Handle congenital heart disease surgeries
• Execute open heart surgeries and minimally invasive cardiac procedures
• Perform VATS / video-assisted thoracic and lung surgeries
• Participate in clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cardiology, anesthesia, ICU, and allied clinical teams
• Support academic activities, mentoring, and clinical protocol development

Required Qualifications

• MBBS Recognized Medical College
• MS General Surgery
• MCh Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery (CTVS)
• Fellowship or advanced training in Minimally Invasive / Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery (preferred)

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1015 years of clinical experience in Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery

Strong expertise in:

• Aortic and vascular surgeries
• Pediatric and adult cardiac surgery
• CABG and valve surgeries
• Minimally invasive & VATS procedures
• Ability to manage high-risk and complex surgical cases
• Strong patient-centric approach and clinical decision-making skills
