Consultant - French Translator Support

Responsibilities

·         Translate a wide range of documents, including but not limited to, articles, reports, marketing materials, website content, and legal documents, from English to French and vice versa.

·         Ensure the accuracy and quality of translations, paying attention to grammar, punctuation, and cultural nuances.

·         Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in terminology and style across translations.

·         Conduct research as needed to ensure the accuracy and relevance of translations.

·         Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications

Any one of the following in French:

·         Bachelor’s Degree

·         Immersion programs or Additional course

·         Specialized Training

·         Internships or work experience

Preferred Qualifications

·         Proven experience as a translator, with a focus on English to French and French to English translations.

·         Excellent proficiency in both English and French, with strong writing and communication skills in both languages.

·         A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.

·         Proficiency in translation software and tools is an advantage.

·         Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.

·         Cultural sensitivity and awareness of linguistic nuances.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
