Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Confluent Developer. The role involves building, managing, and scaling Confluent-driven solutions tailored to meet the data engineering and integration needs of clients in enterprise AI. The Confluent Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data pipelines, ensure seamless data flow, and contribute to developing robust, AI-native systems. Additionally, they will work on troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining existing solutions to ensure their reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Confluent, Kafka, and event-driven architectures for real-time data streaming
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on data engineering and solution deployment
• Strong skills in data integration, pipeline development, and ETL processes
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala for building scalable data solutions
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems principles
• Experience with modern data ecosystems, including tools like Databricks and MinIO
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
