Computer Numerical Control Programmer & Machinist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer & Machinist. The role involves creating CNC programs for machining processes, performing technical drawings, operating and maintaining CNC machines, and implementing best practices in precision machining and milling. The individual will collaborate closely with a technical team to manufacture and prototype MedTech devices, ensuring the highest standards of precision and quality.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years Experience and Proficiency in CNC Programming and Programming for precision machining processes
• Machinists and Programmers for CNC sliding head (Swiss-type) and DMG Turn Mill Centre and Vertical Milling Centre machines
• Manufacture precision components as per drawing specifications. The role ensures high productivity, quality compliance, process improvement, and team supervision.
• Strong skills in Machining and Milling operations
• Competency in Technical Drawing and interpreting engineering designs
• Experience in using CNC machines and relevant tools for high-precision tasks
• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize machining equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and attention-to-detail abilities
• A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in medical device manufacturing or regulated industries is advantageous
• Immediate joining (preferrable)

NAMAH, a Nailwal MedTech Accelerator Hub is proposed as a full-stack MedTech translation programme at IIT Delhi, leveraging the mPragati MedTech Acceleration Facility. NAMAH will systematically bridge the gap between laboratory innovation and market-ready medical devices by integrating engineering, quality systems, regulatory execution, pilot manufacturing, and clinical validation under a single execution framework.
