Computer Lab Assistant

Job roles and responsibilities:

• Examining and fixing the students' programming faults.
• Installing the necessary programming software to ensure that classes run smoothly.
• Assures lab discipline.
• Make sure anyone running the system will always utilize them appropriately.
• Students should receive guidance on how to use computers properly.
• Extending our assistance to the various departments as needed.
• Systems are shifted from necessary Labs
• Maintaining the Lab Log Book And lab stock book

Technical Support:

• Assist faculty and students with lab-related technical issues.
• Support practical sessions in programming, networks. IoT, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, etc.
• Install and maintain licensed/unlicensed software and packages required for labs.
• Supporting students as they learn programming languages.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, MCA, MTech-CSE, M.SC-CS or related discipline.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar technical support role (Freshers may be considered based on technical skill set).
• Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) hardware maintenance, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with programming tools, IDES, and platforms (Python, Java, C++) etc
