Job Description

As an HR Compliance Supervisor, you will lead and manage the HR Compliance team to ensure adherence to all regulatory and organizational standards throughout the employee lifecycle. This role requires strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of HR compliance practices, and the ability to drive process improvements while managing a team effectively.


As an HR Assistant, You Will

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for HR compliance activities across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Oversee compliance with US-specific requirements such as I-9 documentation, background checks, unemployment verification, WOTC, termination reviews, identification verification, and employment verification.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of audits (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc) related to compliance.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and report compliance metrics through dashboards, reports, and logs.
  • Prepare dashboards and presentations for management and leadership reviews.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to address compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance compliance knowledge and performance.
  • Act as a liaison between India-based HRO team and US HR leadership for compliance-related matters.
  • Identify potential compliance risks and implement preventive measures.

Ensure timely resolution of compliance issues and escalations.


What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related field (masters preferred).
  • 810 years of experience in HR compliance or related HR functions, with at least 35 years in a supervisory or team management role.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, compliance regulations, and employment laws.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
