Job Description
Must Have: 

- Good understanding of design, implementation and troubleshooting for Commvault backup technologies and Backup Job configuration

- In-depth understanding of day-day backup administration tasks such as management and monitoring of jobs, reporting, escalation of failed jobs, scheduling adhoc backups, capacity utilization, maintaining audit trails etc

- Escalation of failed backup jobs to respective stake holders (Backup Team & Customer) till closure.

- Should be able to co-ordinate with respective OEMs and Backup Admin Team to ensure SLAs and during break fix

- Performing emergency data and system recovery from backups for Linux, Unix, Virtual Machine, Database and Windows servers

- Provide 24x7 IT operations support in a team on a rotation and on-call basis

- Should be proficient in handling large and heterogeneous setup with knowledge on troubleshooting of issues

- Should possess good communication skills

- Backup Jobs Status Reporting with Analysis to Senior Management"
