Job Description
Position: Community Manager
Location: Bangalore
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Experience Required: 1-3 Years
Client: SaaS based students platform
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Campus Ambassador community across India
- Build strong personal relationships with ambassadors and student leaders
- Onboard new ambassadors and ensure a smooth start
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and high-energy community
- Keep the community active, motivated, and aligned with clear goals while constantly moderating it.
- Constantly think of meaningful ways to engage Campus Ambassadors
- Delegate tasks based on strengths and college presence
- Drive execution of brand partnerships, college outreach, and on-ground activations through ambassadors
- Be highly responsive on chats, DMs, and calls
- Run regular check-ins, follow-ups, and nudges
- Maintain a strong pulse on what students are feeling and saying
Required Experience
- Prior experience as a Community Manager or similar role managing students, ambassadors, creators, or cohorts
- Experience handling both online and offline communities
- Bachelors degree in Management, HR, or related fields preferred
- Managed or built a community in the past with hands-on with WhatsApp, Discord, Reddit, or social communities
Strong Background Indicators
- Experience managing or scaling a community of 100 or more people
- Comfortable with high screen time and fast-paced communication
- A people person who naturally builds trust and rapport
