Job Description
Role overview: The Community Executive will be responsible for building, engaging, and nurturing the BHIVE startup community through events, partnerships, and digital engagement, while representing BHIVE at external forums.
Experience:
Experience - 25 years in community building and management, event management, startup ecosystem, or related roles.
Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or co-working/tech ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and manage on-ground and online events, including new event concepts tailored to the startup ecosystem.
Represent BHIVE at internal and external events, networking meets, and startup forums.
Drive social media engagement for BHIVEs startup relations page, including creation of photos, reels, and other content for better coverage and visibility.
Coordinate with the outbound team to generate and qualify leads from events and community activities.
Build and manage a strong startup community, including founders, investors, and ecosystem partners.
Develop and manage partnerships that add value to the BHIVE community and drive attendance/engagement for events.
Ensure timely content capture at events (photos, videos, testimonials) and collaborate with marketing for publishing.
Requirements and skills:
Strong interest in the startup ecosystem and ability to engage with founders and partners confidently.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to represent the brand professionally at events.
Hands-on experience with event planning and execution (from concept to on ground coordination).
Working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and basic understanding of content formats (reels, stories, posts).
Ability to multitask, manage stakeholders, and work with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales/outbound, operations, Customer Success, Facilities, Investor Relations).
Comfortable working in a dynamic, startup-like environment with weekend/evening events when required.
Nice-to-have:
Prior experience in community building for coworking spaces, accelerators, or startup programs.
Basic content writing or scriptwriting skills for event and social media collaterals.
Comfortable using and adapting various AI tools for productive deliverables.
