Community Engagement and Wellness Coordinator

Vidyashilp University is looking for a Program Associate / Program Manager to jointly support the VU Wellness Centre and the VU Community Engagement Program. The ideal candidate will have a background in community work or NGO experience, along with research and program management skills.

Skills and Requirements:

1. At least a Masters Degree in Psychology or Social Work.
2. Must be fluent in Kannada and English (any other Indian language is an added advantage).
3. At least 2-3 years of experience working with youth, and/or other marginalized communities.
4. Basic research skills.
5. Advanced skills in interacting with people for rapport building, outreach and community work.
6. Advanced organizational and communication skills for working with multiple stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Managing the activities of the VU Wellness Centre and VU Community Engagement Programs, which may include documentation, networking, organizing events & workshops.
2. Managing appointments of the VU community (students, faculty, staff) with the appointed therapist(s).
3. Planning, Documentation and Dissemination of timely reports, events, activities etc.
4. Assist faculty in the implementation of wellness and community related activities and research.
