At Black&Beige, community is not a channel. It is the substrate. It is the reason a brand exists before it knows it exists. Culture is not a trend report. It is the living system of meaning that a brand either excavates honestly or exploits badly.

This role sits at the intersection of both.

You will work across our client portfolio and our own initiatives - some of which live online, and some of which live in rooms in this city, with real people doing real things. We are building something physical in Bangalore right now. This role will be part of that.

What you will actually do

You will identify, map, and build relationships with the people, collectives, practitioners, and spaces that matter. You will programme experiences that have a point of view, not just a footprint. You will work with our strategy and creative teams to translate cultural insight into briefs, partnerships, and activations - for clients like IndWild and Westside, and for B&B's own growing body of work. Some days you will be writing. Some days you will be on the ground.

What we are looking for

Someone who already knows the room. You have spent 1 to 2 years in culture, community, events, editorial, or a creative organisation - and you have opinions about why most of it is done wrong. You read Bangalore well. You know who is doing interesting work here and why it matters. You are a connector by instinct, not by job description. You can write a crisp brief and hold a conversation.

You do not need a specific degree. You need to be curious, reliable, and deeply uncomfortable with surface.
