We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter, and enthusiastic intern to work with the dynamic Communications team. The intern will get an opportunity to operate in an evolving environment and contribute to a growing portfolio of impactful work in public health. Key responsibilities will be to provide support on activities including, but not limited to, content creation and distribution, digital engagement, public relations, event management, and assistance in developing all creative and branding initiatives.
Responsibilities:
As a communications intern, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Write, edit, and proofread content for various project activities tailored to various audiences and channels to achieve key communication objectives
Create content for institutional channels, including webpages and social media, posters, brochures, factsheets, and infographics.
Create relevant case studies, articles, and case stories.
Create social media graphics, event collateral, and report layouts on Canva.
Assist the communication team with media engagement, writing blogs, and press releases.
Assist the communication team with managing events, conferences, webinars, and workshops.
Conduct stakeholder mapping for South Asia countries like Indonesia, Bangladesh and more.
Contribute to the editorial and social media calendar and
maintain content inventories including photo, video, and design assets.Work closely with the organization’s vendor agencies and PATH administration team for coordination on all creative initiatives, printing requirements, and invoice management.
Any other assigned work by the communications team.
Required Skills and Experience:
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree at a reputed graduate school. Fresh graduates in English literature/mass communication/journalism are encouraged to apply.
Flair for creating engaging and compelling content and graphics for different audiences from technical updates, reports, and case studies to short copies for social media.
Excellent command of creative software like Canva.
Excellent skill in creating PowerPoint Presentations.
Strong writing and editing skills in English. Similar skills in Hindi or any other regional Indian language will be a bonus.
Basic research and analytical skills, including the ability to proactively identify opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
Excellent command of MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel. Knowledge of design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator will be a bonus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Location: New Delhi
Duration: 3 months, can be extended to 6 months depending on the performance of the candidate.
