WHAT WILL I BE DOING AT ATHER?

• Conceptualise and create captivating, on-brand visuals for product launches, events, advertising campaigns, social media, showrooms and new sub-brands within the Ather ecosystem

• Adapt work to different media, whether it's print, digital or another creative platform

• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, social media managers, production teams, marketing managers, other in-house teams and external vendors to deliver on-brief work 

• Communicate WIP ideas with design and non-design stakeholders throughout the project phase using prototypes, references, moodboards etc. until refinement

• Actively participate in brainstorms, develop the confidence to pitch work-in-progress ideas (WIP) and finished designs and defend your creative choices with thoughtful rationale. 

• Design internal as well as external facing presentations, whether to communicate your own ideas or to communicate with customers

WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE & SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THIS ROLE?

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of industry experience in communication design, branding, graphic design 

• Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent practical experience

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Adobe tools like Illustrator, Photoshop and Keynote. Any other tools/skills are an added bonus

• Familiarity with print production processes and techniques

Bonus:

• Secondary skills like motion design, sound design, video editing, photography, videography, 3d work, creative coding etc are a huge plus

• Interest in tech, automobile and adjacent industries

• Stay current with design trends, continually push the creative boundaries of the brand

• Experience working at in-house Design/Creative teams
  
  

WHAT SHOULD I HAVE GRADUATED IN?

No fast rule on academic requirements. We’re looking primarily for a notable quality of work in this domain and the experience mentioned.  

Bachelor of Design, Master of Design, or any equivalent degree in art or design works as a bonus.
