Commodity Analyst

Location: Mumbai / Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) Flexible

We operate a structured Family Office under Mission Lakshya , focused on disciplined capital allocation, long-term wealth creation, and strategic trading & investment opportunities across asset classes.

To support our next phase of growth, we are strengthening our research-driven trading vertical with:

• An expansion office in Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) , and
• A satellite research & backend office in Mumbai , allowing location flexibility for high-quality talent.

We are looking for an experienced Commodity Research Analyst who can independently research, analyze, and take informed positions across major commodities.

This role will work closely with both the commodity trading desk and the equity research team , creating cross-asset insights.

• Conduct deep fundamental & macro research on major traded commodities (Energy, Metals, Agri, Bullion, etc.)
• Track global supply-demand trends, inventory data, geopolitical & macroeconomic events impacting commodities
• Actively participate in position building and trade execution via:
• MCX , Commodity ETFs , Related derivative instruments (as applicable)
• Provide actionable views and conviction-based trade ideas
• Collaborate with the equity research team to:
• Assess the impact of commodity price movements on specific sectors and listed companies
• Identify beneficiaries and risk-exposed stocks due to commodity cycles
• Maintain trade logs, post-trade analysis, and performance reviews
• Support portfolio risk management and position sizing frameworks

• Minimum 5 years of combined experience :
• Corporate research / trading desk, AND/OR
• Active individual commodity trading with a strong track record
• Strong understanding of:
• Commodity cycles and pricing mechanisms
• Global macro indicators , Futures, options, and ETFs
• Ability to work independently with ownership mindset
• Clear communication skills to explain views to internal teams
