Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic MEP engineering graduates who are keen to build a career in Testing & Commissioning (T&C) of Data Centers.

This role is designed for freshers or early-career engineers who will undergo structured on-the-job training and work alongside senior engineers in witnessing, verification, and commissioning activities of mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

During Training Phase

• Assist senior T&C engineers in testing and commissioning activities for:
• Electrical systems (HT/LT, UPS, DG, PDUs, earthing)
• Mechanical systems (chillers, CRAH/CRAC, pumps, ventilation)
• ELV systems (BMS, EMS, FAS exposure level)
• Support witnessing of factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT)
• Learn to review method statements, test procedures, and checklists
• Participate in site inspections, pre-commissioning checks, and system readiness reviews
• Understand data center redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N)

Post-Training / Project Deployment

• Execute and witness functional, integrated, and performance testing
• Record test results and prepare T&C reports and observations
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, OEMs, and client teams
• Assist in Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and shutdown activities
• Support handover documentation and final commissioning sign-offs

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B. Tech in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Application from other streams will not be considered

Required Skills & Attributes

• Strong interest in Data Centers and Mission-Critical Infrastructure
• Basic understanding of Electrical or Mechanical building services
• Willingness to learn on-site and work in live project environments
• Comfortable with site-based work, night shifts, and shutdown activities (as required)
• Good documentation and MS Excel / MS Word skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to:
• Construction sites or MEP projects
• Data centers, hospitals, airports, or large commercial buildings
• Awareness of:
• Testing & Commissioning processes
• Basic understanding of standards (TIA-942, ASHRAE exposure level)

Work Location & Mobility

• Primary Locations: Mumbai/Delhi
• Must be willing to travel to project sites across India as required
• Initial 3 months training will be in Mumbai & Chennai and the candidates will be placed in Mumbai/Delhi post completion of the training.
• Outstation candidates will be provided with accommodation for the training period.
