Carbon Shipping Commercially and Technically manages crude and product tankers for owners and investors. The vessels trade worldwide, and the current fleet consists of MR, LR1 and LR2 Tankers.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Operations Executive at Carbon Shipping to be based in Sector 18 Noida, India. The Operations Executive will be responsible for day-to-day operations management of the assigned vessels. Internal co-ordination is with the Owners and Technical department, external co-ordination is with shipbrokers, charterers, agents etc.

This role will expose you to the full gamut of international shipping. Our managed ships trade worldwide with a wide range of first-class charterers and carry different types of liquid cargoes across the world.

Working closely with the Technical department sitting within the same office will provide an exposure to the technical intricacies required to keep ships running efficiently. Working closely with charterers, brokers and agents across the world exposes you to different nationalities, cultures and personalities.

There is never a boring moment, and this role holds a significant responsibility which has a direct impact on revenues and profitability.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Experience at sea in junior ranks is an advantage but not essential
• Prior experience in any shipping role such as broker ops would be advantageous.
• A strong work ethic and ability to work within a team
• Knowledge of logistics and shipping processes
• Ability to work on-site in Noida is essential. The office is in Wave One, Sector 18 Noida.
