Role: Commercial & Marketing (Bulk Liquid Terminal)

Qualification: B.E (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical) with MBA/Executive MBA/PGDBM Preferred

Experience: 15-20 Years

Multiple Vacancy: Chennai, Kolkata & Gujarat


About this Role:

We are looking a seasoned Commercial & Marketing professionals with strong experience in marketing services, preferably in petroleum/chemicals logistics or storage field for a PSU Oil company or large Bulk liquid storage company.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting Regional Head in obtaining contracts for storage and handling of petroleum, chemicals and vegetable oils at various terminals owned and operated by IMC Group companies.


Finance &Commercial

  • Assisting in obtaining contracts for Bulk liquid terminal storage with focus on maximizing tank occupancy & enhancing revenue.
  • Preparation of annual, medium and long term business plans and budgets in close consultation with the Regional heads, periodic review, variance analysis and taking corrective steps in case of deviation.

Customer

  • Regularly meeting customers for identifying opportunities for contract finalization and relationship building.
  • Handling enquires from customers/Corporate office/other regions/ terminals for the storage requirement at terminals.
  • Preparation of offers and meeting customers along with Regional Head for finalization of contracts.
  • Preparation of documents for submission of offers/tenders floated by PSUs and other large customers for storage & handling of various bulk liquid products.
  • Preparation of draft contracts and discussion with customers for finalization of the contract terms
  • Timely renewal of existing contracts in co-ordination with Regional heads
  • Co-ordination with customers for audits points & for completing satisfaction surveys
  • Resolution of customer complaints in co-ordination with Regional & Terminal heads
  • Collection of outstanding from customers in accordance with the credit policy and settling discrepancies and disputes.

General

  • Preparing monthly MIS report of the region for submission to Corporate Office.
  • Scanning the industrial environment to identify potential opportunities from new manufacturing facilities or expansion of existing facilities
  • Analyzing import/export data of bulk liquid products through various ports to identify potential customers
  • Analyzing competitor activities, occupancy levels, customer profile etc.
  • Interaction/liaison with Port, Statutory, Government and other agencies as required.
  • Any other work delegated by Regional Head

OTHER SKILLS:

  • Good computer skills and well versed n word, excel, PPT, etc.
