Job Description

Job Summary


Commercial Lead, Latin America (LATAM) will be responsible for building profitable sales through expansion into LATAM. This position is to work in conjunction with our existing and new partners to develop and achieve sales objectives, manage budgets, prepare and execute product programs, assess competitive environments and analyze/evaluate results by brand.

Key Responsibilities:


Responsible for overall P&L (Sales & Margin)

Execute international strategic expansion plan

Evaluate viable international partners - existing and potential

Assist in developing local marketing and customer execution plans with partners

Effectively communicate key commercial plans and initiatives to partners providing training as needed

Review and evaluate performance in achieving sales and execution objectives for each country that are clearly quantified, mutually agreed upon and effectively measured

Maintain ongoing partners contacts to expedite resolution of marketplace / opportunities

Market analysis, namely potential of specific products, market characteristics (tender, reimbursement, private), determining approach to entry and commercial policy

Identification of potential partners, preparing of the commercial offers, and contract negotiation

Co-operate with Legal in agreements preparation (CDA, Supply and Distribution, Terms Sheets, Agency, POA etc.)

Setting the yearly sales targets and longer-term plans and controlling their execution

Preparing tender offers and tender documents

Being a main contact point for customers, including the coordination of registration process and other necessary activities to start export sales

Cooperation with Marketing team with regards to marketing plans and activities and their influence on the yearly goals

Preparing export reports, analysis, presentations etc.

Preparing and negotiating agreements with forwarders and participate in their qualification process


Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in Business, Science, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 710 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and within the LATAM region
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strategic mindset with a strong commitment to achieving results
  • Proactive self-starter with a hands-on approach and a strong can-do attitude
