In this role,youllbeleading the market expansion of new initiatives in theAgTechspace inmultiple districts inMaharashtra,operatingacross B2B2C and B2C models. In this role, you will drive customer acquisition by building strong relationships withChannel Partnersand farmers, manage channel partnerships, and deliver impactful product and service experiences that increase farmer engagement and satisfaction.You will also be enabling commercial team on ground togrow their territorys business in digital products.

What you will do:

  • Enable commercial teams of different territories todo sales for digital product offeringsby conducting on the job trainings of commercial teams.
  • Identify, onboard, and build relationships withchannel partnersand farmers acrossdifferentterritories in collaboration with commercial teams in the regionto drive adoption of our digital product and services.
  • Support commercial teams in management ofrelationship withchannel partners, ensuring smooth execution of product sales, service delivery, and post-sales support.
  • Plan and executedemand generation activitieswith sales officersat ground zero.
  • Developandimplement territory-level growth strategies, aligning with overall business goals, to drive customer acquisition and product usagewhile collaborating with cross functional teams.
  • Conduct regular training forcommercial teams,channelpartnersand farmers to ensure they understand the benefits of our offerings, leading to enhanced product adoption.
  • Meet and exceed sales, customer acquisition, and market share targets, with an emphasis on achieving high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide regular updates on territory performance, customer feedback, and market conditions, working closely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve products and services.
  • Conduct regular field visits toengagedirectly with farmers, collect insights, and ensure strong relationships between the company, traders, and end-users.
  • Lead, motivate and mentor field team members for business growth outcomes.
  • Ensure cash flow for the ventureis healthy at all timeswhilemaintaininghealthy relationswith the channel.
  • Be face of the venture on ground and own the dispute resolutionin the regionwith support fromproduct team.

Note:This is a contractual role and can be extended or converted to Full Time Employee role in Bayer based on performance.

Who you are

  • You have3-5 years of experience inAgriTech, Agriculture input sales,digitalproduct salesor related sectors, with a deep understanding of the agricultural ecosystem inMaharashtra.
  • Proventrack recordof achieving sales targets, managing channel partnerships, and working directly with farmers andchannel partnersin a B2B2C or B2C setup.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building long-lasting relationships with traders, farmers, and internal teams.
  • A go-getterwith the ability to work independently, manage territory operations, and drive sales growth.
  • You thrive in a dynamic startup environment, are quick to adapt, andcanbalance multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiencyin using digital tools, mobile apps, and MS Office is essential for this role.
  • Fluency inMarathiand English, with knowledge of local dialects is a strong advantage.
  • A degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Rural Development, or related fields ispreferred. (MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.)
  • Experience of leading and managing a team successfully.
  • Ready to travel to various locationsin a giventerritory.
  • Comfortable inchallengingideas and engage in thoughtful discussions with leadership, contributing to a culture of mutualrespect, innovation, and continuous improvementwith a solutionist mindset.
