Job Title: Commercial Director Retreat & Hospitality

Location: Hyderabad (Nanakramguda)

The Commercial Director Retreat & Hospitality will be responsible for driving the overall commercial performance of Ridhira Groups retreat, wellness, hospitality-led, and destination portfolio. This includes luxury retreats, villas within retreat ecosystems, wellness resorts, banquets, memberships, long-stay products, leasing, and experiential revenue streams.

The role will lead sales strategy, pricing, revenue optimization, partnerships, contracts, and commercial risk management , ensuring sustained profitability, brand positioning, and long-term value.


Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Revenue Management

  • Develop and execute the overall commercial and revenue strategy for retreat, wellness, and hospitality-led.
  • Drive multi-revenue stream monetization including room inventory, villas, wellness programs, memberships, banquets, events, F&B, and experiential offerings.
  • Lead pricing strategy, yield management, and demand-based pricing across seasons and segments.
  • Align commercial plans with pre-opening timelines, phased launches, and operational readiness .


Sales, Partnerships & Distribution

  • Oversee sales across retreat stays, luxury villas, long-stay products, memberships, corporate retreats, MICE, weddings, and wellness programs .
  • Build and manage channel partners, luxury travel agents, wellness aggregators, OTAs, corporates, and strategic alliances .
  • Develop corporate, institutional, and B2B partnerships for steady occupancy and revenue.
  • Track sales velocity, occupancy, ARR, RevPAR, conversion ratios, and booking trends.


Contracts, Commercial Structuring & Negotiation

  • Lead negotiations with corporates, event clients, wellness partners, operators, tenants, and strategic collaborators .
  • Oversee commercial contracts, rate agreements, memberships, lease-back models, and operator tie-ups in coordination with Legal.
  • Structure revenue-share, management contracts, lease-back, wellness collaborations, and long-term monetization models .
  • Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks while safeguarding margins.


Market Intelligence & Feasibility

  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and wellness & hospitality trend analysis .
  • Evaluate project feasibility including IRR, ROI, GOP, cash flows, break-even, and pricing sensitivity .
  • Support new retreat concepts, expansions, and land acquisitions from a commercial viability standpoint .


Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Operations, Projects, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Wellness, and Hospitality teams .
  • Ensure alignment between design, guest experience, product mix, operational costs, and revenue goals .
  • Support pre-opening strategy, launch planning, and post-launch optimization .


Financial & Performance Management

  • Own commercial budgets, revenue forecasts, collections, and cash flow planning .
  • Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, approval matrices, and internal controls .


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in hospitality, retreat, wellness, and destination asset monetization
  • Proven experience in pricing, yield management, partnerships, and commercial structuring
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and deal-closing skills
  • Deep understanding of luxury hospitality, wellness tourism, and experiential destinations
  • Strong financial acumen: IRR, ROI, RevPAR, feasibility & cash flow analysis
  • Strategic leader with strong execution focus


Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA / PGDM
  • 1520+ years of experience in hospitality, retreats, wellness resorts, or destination projects
  • Prior experience as Commercial Director / Head Commercial / Sales & Revenue Head
  • Exposure to luxury retreats, wellness resorts, mixed-use hospitality
  • Experience with operator tie-ups, institutional clients, and long-term partnerships is a strong plus
