What we are looking for

Role: Command Center Shift Lead

Experience Range: 6 10 Years

Location: Vizag

Must-Have:

• Shift Oversight:
• Supervise L1 operators during the shift; ensure compliance with monitoring and triage processes.
• Incident Escalation:
• Act as the first escalation point for unresolved/high-impact incidents; coordinate with L2/L3 teams.
• Major Event Coordination:
• Lead during DR drills, major releases, and high-impact events.
• Shift Handover:
• Validate shift logs and ensure accurate handover documentation.
• Performance Monitoring:
• Track shift KPIs and report anomalies or improvement areas.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Provide timely updates on outages and critical incidents.
• Readiness Checks:
• Conduct daily readiness calls and ensure operational preparedness.
• Documentation & SOP Compliance:
• Maintain and update SOPs; ensure team adherence.
• Tool Proficiency:
• ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Control-M, MoveIT, Azure, Rubrik, ASG Zena, PowerBI.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
• 3+ years in IT operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of network operations, application support, and incident management.
• Leadership Skills:
• Ability to manage teams under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Communication:
• Excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder engagement.
• Certifications:
• ITIL Foundation certified
