Collibra Developer

We are seeking a skilled Collibra Developer to join our FPE Centre of Excellence (COE) team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth experience with Collibra, strong developer skills, and a solid understanding of APIs and data harvesting techniques. You will play a pivotal role in integrating and managing metadata, ensuring seamless data governance across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collibra Implementation: Configure, maintain, and enhance Collibra environments to support business and technical metadata management.
• API Integration: Develop and manage APIs for harvesting and synchronising metadata from various data sources into Collibra.
• Data Harvesting: Design and implement processes to automate the extraction and ingestion of metadata from external systems into Collibra.
• Solution Development: Build and optimise workflows, connectors, and custom scripts to improve data governance and lineage.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data owners, stewards, and other stakeholders to ensure Collibra solutions meet business needs.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Collibra integrations and data harvesting.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration guides, process flows, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.
• Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration techniques.
• Hands-on experience in harvesting metadata from various sources (databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, etc.) into Collibra.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Groovy) for automation and custom connector development.
• Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, and metadata management concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Collibra certification(s) (e.g., Collibra Ranger, Collibra Steward).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration frameworks.
• Experience working in a Centre of Excellence or similar environment.
