Job Description:
- Performs collection functions via phone, fax, email, website on outstanding invoices, deductions, and credit notes
- Analyzes disputes and resolves through working with internal departments, such as Customer Service, Warehouse, and Chargebacks as well as external companies such as returns companies and carriers
- Complete credit request form after claim has been validated
- Update text maintenance with collections activity within system to allow management and client visibility of progress
- Reconcile the Age Trial Balance for customers to validate claims of Credit Balance
- Research, log, and resolve internal errors regarding order entry, shipment accuracy, returns, and pricing
- Review orders on hold for credit and determine if customers are within set credit amount of if payment is forth coming
- Recommend credit limit reviews for customers who continually exceed their credit limits
- Prepare Weekly Client/Management Reports.
- Prepare Monthly Client/Management Reports.
- Daily interaction with key client personnel.
- Participate in client meetings/calls.
- Complete as requested, month-end processes, i.e., client reports, month-end reports and ad hoc reports.
- Work closely with Accounts Receivable Administrator to assist in closure of any deductions or variances.
- Work with Client Management Associate to keep current with any client/customer changes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Accounts Receivables/Collections/AP background and SAP knowledge and experience is a must
