Job Description
Responsibilities
Drive cash flow improvements within EMEA region for Industrial Divisions. Required to successfully manage the assigned portfolio to deliver cash flow targets in line with monthly goals and expectations.
Own, manage and resolve large/long term disputes across the EMEA portfolio.
Achieve Aged debt, DSO and collection goals utilizing advanced collection techniques in line with the SAP, GetPaid and Oracle processes.
Initiate and drive pro-active collections by collaborating with the customers to identify queries or disputes prior to due date of invoices.
Build key business relationships with sales and operational teams to drive improvements in the OTC cycle.
Support and facilitate Commercial agreements and contracts with Sales in relation to terms and business processes.
Build strong business relationships with key customers in country/region.
Provide expert decision making on all topics relating to the OTC cycle.
Manage and deploy key Credit procedures within country and region.
Manage the decision making on stop shipments for their key countries.
Ensure W/O and reserves are reflective of country specifics. Including escalation to Atradius collections and legal proceedings.
Ensure all key work processes are followed through automated systems daily. (Dunnings, statements, invoice copies and customer responses).
Provide accurate weekly cash forecasts highlighting risks, opportunities and providing recommendations to management based on collection activity to ensure targets are achieved.
Pro-actively support monthly action plans on delinquent customers and open disputes across the portfolio to support resolution and mitigate root cause.
Manage and maintain the customer master file for both SAP, Get Paid and Oracle systems ensuring accurate data on all customers.

Minimum Qualifications
Education level required: BSc/MSc preferably in Finance/Accounting
Need experience in Credit risk, collection, or similar relevant experience
Technical knowledge
o Fluent spoken and written French & English essential.
o Track record in achieving and exceeding goals/targets essential
o Strong understanding of the Order to cash process.
o Ability to negotiate effectively to drive resolutions.
o Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
o Strong customer focus and service delivery
o Ability to provide accurate data and proven experience in ability to influence recipients in relation to content.
o Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required.
o Process Improvement experience, always looking for opportunities to refine the way we do things.
o Strong team player
o Previous experience of SAP, Get Paid and/or Oracle systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
o Excellent communication skills in English and other European language are required.
o Excellent analytical skills to interpret and relate financial data so that the resulting comments describe the key risks and drivers.
o High ethical standards
o Ability to deal with a range of issues efficiently and in a timely manner.
o Attention to details.
o Knowledge of process improvement techniques and the ability to promote positive change.
