Role: Lead Generation Specialist (Cold Email Outreach Expert)

Background: IT Services / Digital Agency experience preferred

Location: Kolkata (On-site - Only candidates from Kolkata should apply)

Reporting: Founders and Leadership Team

Experience: 3 to 6 years

Language: Excellent English communication (written and verbal)

Compensation: Up to 50k (Based on experience and qualifications)

Timing: UK Shift


About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Generation Specialist with deep experience in cold email outreach, prospecting, and outbound systems. This is not a general marketing role.

This role requires someone who can build outbound campaigns from scratch, including data sourcing, writing outbound sequences, managing deliverability, and consistently generating qualified leads/appointments.


Key Responsibilities


Cold Email Strategy & Execution

  • Build complete cold outreach systems from the ground up

(ICP research list building message crafting deliverability setup reporting).

  • Write high-converting, personalised outbound email sequences (intro emails, follow-ups, break-ups).
  • Perform inbox/domain warm-ups, deliverability checks, and maintain healthy sender scores.
  • Continuously A/B test subject lines, email copy, sending volume, send times, and CTAs.


Prospecting & Data Sourcing

  • Identify and define ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas.
  • Source accurate lead data from tools like Apollo, Clay, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
  • Validate emails, clean lists, and maintain high data quality.


Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Track all outreach activity and lead responses in CRM (HubSpot, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, etc.).
  • Qualify leads and hand off to sales with complete context.
  • Maintain consistent outbound pipeline metrics (open rates, reply rates, positive replies, meetings booked).


Performance & Optimization

  • Analyse campaign performance and adjust variables to improve results.
  • Report on metrics such as deliverability, response rate, lead quality, and meeting conversions.
  • Recommend improvements to targeting, messaging, and lead sources.


Required Experience & Skills


  • 3+ years specifically in cold email outreach / outbound lead generation

(NOT general marketing / social media / content).

  • Proven ability to write cold email copy that gets replies and generates meetings.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Email deliverability & warm-up systems
  • DNS/SPF/DKIM/DMARC
  • Multi-inbox rotation and domain strategy
  • Personalisation frameworks
  • Apollo, Clay, Sales Nav
  • HubSpot, Pipedrive
  • Data-driven approach; understands metrics and optimizes accordingly.
  • Excellent written English, communication, and research skills.


Nice to Have


  • Experience integrating email + LinkedIn automation workflows.
  • Knowledge of scraping tools and enrichment workflows.
  • Experience booking meetings for agencies, SaaS, or B2B service companies.
