Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Responsibilities The Cognos BI Developer will play a pivotal role in the migration of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) from Teradata to Google BigQuery. This role involves transitioning existing Cognos reports and dashboards, ensuring their functionality and performance in the new environment, and supporting the overall migration process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Strong experience with IBM Cognos Analytics, including Report Studio, Framework Manager, and Query Studio.

· Proficiency in SQL and experience working with Teradata.

· Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, including data loading, querying, and optimization.

· Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools.

· Understanding of data warehousing concepts, architectures, and best practices.

· Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting) is a plus.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

· Prior experience in migrating Enterprise Data Warehouses from Teradata to Google BigQuery.

· Experience with other Business Intelligence tools and platforms.

· Knowledge of cloud computing and related services.

· Expertise in tracing the lineage of an existing collection of Cognos Reports
