Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 10 to 14 years of experience specializing in Powerbuilder. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design development and implementation of software solutions using Powerbuilder.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of projects ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Ensure that software solutions meet business needs and are scalable and maintainable.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the best tools and techniques.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on Powerbuilder.
  • Have experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Display strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Be proficient in conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Show capability to develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Demonstrate ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Have experience in project planning and estimation.
  • Show ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs.
  • Exhibit strong troubleshooting and technical issue resolution skills.

    • Certifications Required

    Certified PowerBuilder Developer Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is a plus.
