Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, where the Co-Founder & COO will have the flexibility for partial remote work. As Co-Founder & COO, you will lead the Operations & Commercial strategies of Yuvrus Botanicals, responsible for building and scaling Yuvrus Botanicals end-to-end operations while driving revenue growth, distribution expansion, and commercial excellence. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing sales initiatives, developing marketing plans, building strategic partnerships, conducting market research, and leading the team in achieving business milestones. As this position carries an investment role, the candidate should also be prepared to contribute financially to the growth and scaling of the company.


Qualifications:

  • MBA from a top-tier institute (IIM / ISB / IIT / equivalent reputed global school) preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in FMCG, food, nutraceutical, herbal, baby care, or wellness industry
  • Strong expertise in supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution scale-up
  • Proven experience in sales operations and commercial execution
  • Strong sales and marketing skills, with experience strategizing and executing campaigns
  • Hands-on experience working with third-party manufacturers
  • Deep understanding of demand forecasting, inventory planning, and cost optimization
  • Knowledge of FSSAI, GMP, AYUSH, and regulatory quality standards
  • Experience building distributor, super-stockist, and retail networks
  • Exposure to trade marketing, promotions, and channel performance management
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with focus on margins and profitability
  • Experience implementing ERP, MIS, and operational reporting systems
  • Advanced analytical and research skills to evaluate market trends and guide strategy
  • Excellent communication skills to lead teams and engage stakeholders and partners
  • Proven leadership and entrepreneurial mindset with ability to innovate and scale businesses
  • Demonstrated ability to build teams and operate in high-growth, startup environments
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-heavy ecosystem
  • Financial acumen and ability to make a strategic investment in the venture


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end operations from sourcing to distribution
  • Manage manufacturing, procurement, and regulatory quality compliance
  • Drive demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory control
  • Oversee distribution execution across GT, MT, E-commerce, D2C, and pharmacies
  • Own sales operations, revenue delivery, and channel performance
  • Manage pricing, trade margins, and commercial profitability
  • Execute trade marketing, retail activations, and promotion rollouts
  • Align marketing execution with stock and supply readiness
  • Establish SOPs, ERP systems, and operational workflows
  • Oversee logistics, order fulfillment, and vendor performance
  • Ensure cross-functional coordination (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product)
  • Build and lead operations and sales teams
  • Mitigate supply, quality, and compliance risks
