About the Role
The Manager Medical Coding will oversee the coding team, ensuring compliance with coding standards and regulations while optimizing productivity and quality in the coding process.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the medical coding team.
- Ensure adherence to ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
- Monitor quality and productivity metrics.
- Provide training and support to team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance coding processes.
Qualifications
- 1+ year on-paper experience as Manager Medical Coding
- OR
- 2+ years on-paper experience as Assistant Manager Medical Coding
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS
- Team handling experience
- Quality & productivity management
- US Healthcare RCM exposure
Preferred Skills
- Experience with coding audits and compliance.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards.
