Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Hyderabad for a CNC Milling Machinist. The primary responsibilities include operating and maintaining CNC milling machines, reviewing blueprints, interpreting technical drawings, and setting up machinery for production. The role also involves inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and troubleshooting machining issues as they arise. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with team members to meet production goals and ensure precision in the manufacturing process.

Key job responsibilities

1. Prepare and Operate CNC machines

2. Understand programming cutting strategy, tool selection and place tools onto turret as required.

3. Prepare and load raw material onto the machine and ensure proper location, orientation, and alignment.

4. Supervise the CNC machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce optimal results.

5. Inspect and measure in process and finished components and compare them with engineering drawings to determine if the process has been completed properly. 6. Check and maintain machines daily to ensure functionality.

7. Inspect and replace, tools, inserts and other consumables as required.

Key skills required:

1. Ability to quickly read and understand engineering drawings.

2. Knowledge of materials, tools, inserts, coolant, and other consumables used in CNC machining.

3. Knowledge and operational experience of 3 axis BFW CNC vertical milling machines with Fanuc controller.
