Content Management System ArchitectCMS Architect

Experience 15 to 20 years

Role Summary

Lead the endtoend CMS solution architecture for Bass Pros NextGen commerce platform platform evaluation solution design configuration standards and high scale integrations with PIM eCommerce DAM personalization and BFF microservices layers Enable fast content authoring publishing preview and omnichannel delivery with enterprise guardrails

Primary Responsibilities Deliverables

Drive CMS platform selection and reference architecture document decision records and secure client signoffs

Define future state CMS architecture authoringpublishingpersonalizationpreview and nonfunctional requirements performance availability security observability

Establish configuration customization standards design content models taxonomies workflows and governance

Lead integrations with PIM eCommerce DAM and personalization tools align APIs with BFF microservices and frontend rendering strategies Nextjs React

Guide environment setup DevQAProd for CMS authoringpublishing modules define CICD pipelines and release processes for CMS assets

Partner with Technical Enterprise Architects to ensure coherent endtoend design and resolve cross track technical issues perform design reviews and code reviews where applicable

Provide authoring best practices and training enablement for business users content authors

Required Skills Technical

Deep expertise in AEM SitecoreContentfulOptimizely any enterprise CMS AEM preferred for authoring maturity content modeling workflows component design and headless delivery

Strong eCommerce domain knowledge catalog promotions SEO personalization and how content drives conversion

API Integration REST GraphQL experience integrating CMS with PIM eCommerce DAM personalization stacks familiarity with BFF patterns and microservices

Architecture NFRs scalability performance tuning caching CDN security roles observability logs metrics DORA goals

DevOps Release environments asset pipelines CICD for CMS content packages governance for content and configuration changes
