Job Summary

Responsible for operating and programming of CMM machine and ensure that components are inspected as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Candidate must be able to do operating and programming on Co-ordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)Specifically, for Mitutoyo Make Crysta Apex V, MOCOSMOS 3.0 Software.

Preference to the candidate with standard room inspection experiences, like VMM, 2D height gauge, Vernier, Micrometers, Plug gauges, Thread gauges, surface finish tester and counter profile Mitutoyo C-3200.

Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols accurately.

Inspect the parts as per drawings and share the reports with respective team for corrections if any.

Knowledge of calibration of equipment.

Must have basic computer operating knowledge.

Ensure material movement and traceability within the shop floor.

Maintain 5S and workplace discipline.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications / Education, Skills and Experience Required

ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

At least 58 years of experience in operating and programming of CMM machines and experinced in Solid Works

Must have experience in Mitutoyo Make Crysta Apex V, MOCOSMOS 3.0 Software.

Standard room inspection experiences, like VMM, 2D height gauge, Vernier, Micrometers, Plug gauges, Thread gauges, surface finish tester and counter profile Mitutoyo C-3200.

Must have knowledge of CMM Programming.

Preferred background in Medical device implants, Aerospace, or Precision machining industries
