Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or equivalent practical experience.
9 years of experience in debugging code (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Perl, JavaScript).
Experience in technical support, professional services, software development.
Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, holidays and on shift-based schedules as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with distributed, columnar or investigative databases or distributed data processing frameworks.
Experience with AI/ML tools to meet business needs.
Experience with machine learning technologies (e.g., TensorFlow), developing or training models or implementing solutions.
Experience in data analytics, warehousing, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development, data science or related Big Data applications.
Knowledge of web technologies, Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) concepts, Unix/Linux administration and commands.
Ability to complete background check clearance to work with Government clients.

You will help to drive the success of Google Cloud by understanding and advocating customer issues.

Responsibilities

Manage customer problems through diagnosis, resolution or implementation of new investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products like AI/ML.
Develop an understanding of Google's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and building tools for diagnosis.
Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, business, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment issues and improve Google Cloud.
Work as part of a team of engineers/consultants that globally ensure customer support.
Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering teams, to find ways to improve the product, and drive production.
